Flower garland

This work, made in mixed media using acrylics and colored pencils, is a compliment to women and the importance they have in our society. The bird represents the connection of the human being with nature, with that charm and admiration that birds produce in us, but at the same time it has in its power the key to open the feminine side of the soul, although in the work a woman is represented. Woman is also a call for the man to access that feminine part that we all have inside, I use the woman to represent everything that we need to understand and what is necessary to empathize with all the effort and all the intelligence and power that any woman owns. The sun and the moon symbolize the lights and shadows of the moment in which we find ourselves, where women are recognized as capable in many respects but still do not reach the same freedom as men and are treated with a certain condescension too many times.
